Global Alliance: Training GroundsLocated south of the rear entrance of the main HQ stands Duchess, who wields a semi-automatic, stares at Lightspeed who stands a few feet across from her. Listening to Baby Metal on his I-Pod, enjoying the song Headbanger
"You ready?" Duchess asked in which Lightspeed gave a thumbs up. Duchess open fired. When one is a speedster not only time flows a little differently when you're running at high speeds but also your hearing is different. You can hear the speed of an object coming at you at a pretty fast pace.
Just as the volley of bullets near him everything slows down. Still listening to the music Lightspeed looked up to see the bullets a few inches away from his face. He stepped aside. Looking at Duchess as more rounds fire from her machine gun.
As the song ended so does the sound of gunfire as Duchess ran out of ammo. He puts his I-Pod up then looks at the volley of bullets. He grins as an idea was brewing
At normal speed Duchess heard the clicking of the gun. She looked around to not see Lightspeed before her
"Ahem"
She turned and sees Lightspeed and motions for Duchess to look down
She looks down and notice that she is standing in the middle of a heart pierced by an arrow made by the bullet holes from Duchess's gun. "You sneaky bitch"
"Happy valentines day"Lightspeed smiled then giggled
"That's what I'm talking about!" He opened a dimensional portal to the fairies realm.
The two heard applause as Cleric approached them. "A wonderful show. You're getting faster every day."
Black Knight, ready as always. Walked with Archmage as they enter the fae realm known as....Arcadia
"Thank you, thank you" Lightspeed bows" I'm open for request"
Archmage and Black Knight traveled through a dimensional portal into a white void which had a couple of plants growing alongside it as they continued forward and they soon found themselves walking in a wide forest area with blue lights floating through the air and darting about. This path lead them to a doorway. Archmage pressed his hand on it and the door opened up for them. A blinding light shined on the two and they found themselves in Arcadia. It was beautiful. A place of love and nature. The wonderful smells of nature were all around them as the fairies of Arcadia danced and sang and played with one another. The ones that weren't partying were either drinking churned butter or feasting on sweets. The plants were like diamonds and the sky was comprised of multiple colors now.
The whole place just gave you a good feeling. Archmage smiled and cleared his throat. "Hello, ladies."
"MAAAAAGE!" They swarmed around the pair in delight, excited to see him again. "Where have you been? What have you been doing? Did you bring any treasure? Tell us stories? Who's your friend? We like him! What's underneath the armor? Are you a good knight or a bad knight?" They all grabbed onto the pair and started dragging them to a flower, which bloomed up and they were sat down on it. "To answer the question ladies, I'm here on a job. I need to speak with April Willowglow regarding possible theft of the Copper of the Twilight."
"Theft? Here?! Ridiculous! Nobody can steal from us without us knowing about it!"
"Hence why I said 'possible' theft. Do you know where we can find her?"
"Are you accusing us of anything?" A fairy grew to human size and crossed her arms.
"Hello to you too, Sparkla. To answer your question though, no. I'm not accusing anybody of anything, but we need to speak with her because April is the only being I know of that has access to the Copper of the Twilight, and Euphenia Evanora not only has access to it but she used it to create a dream mirror."
"EUPHENIA?!" The fairies flew backwards. "That witch is loose?!"
"Yeah, she picked a fight with me in the dream realm and told me she's intending to come back, take over the universe, all that."
"Well, okay, anybody know where she is?"
"Yeah, April likes to hang out at Crystal Gorge."
"Crystal Gorge?" He asked. "You're sure?"
"Yes, very. We can show you the way."
"Alright, thank you." Archmage said. "Lead the way."
"Just before they could get going though, one of the fairies spoke up. "Hey, um, should we inform King Oberon
about what's going on?"
Archmage sighed at the mention of his name. (I was hoping not to deal with him.) "Yeah." He said, brightening up. "If something has happened here, then it's only right that he is made aware of it. Inform him and the queen about what's going on while we speak with April."
"You know I do love swans." Cleric said to them. "But designs will have to wait, we have an emergency on our hands."
