Just a concept idea that I'm working on. The General idea of it...

Now, we all know the story: "People get superpowers, band together, fight crime, etc."
But what if it all went wrong? The people who do get blessed with the superpowers start losing control, start tapping into darker aspects of themselves as they become ruled by their own powers, they find themselves fighting against themselves as they struggle to survive against each other and the military and government hunting them all down.

Bio: An angry young man who hates the way the world is today, what with terrorism and killers and worse being allowed to walk through either bribery, lapses in legal procedure or both. The tipping point for him came 5 years ago when he was out on a date with his then girlfriend and Michael stopped to use the restroom. Coming out, he saw a man attacking his then girlfriend. Michael leaped on the man and got in a fight with him and ended up beating the man horribly. He was arrested by the police for it and the man sued and won, Michael spending 5 years in prison before being allowed to come back out and tried to pick his life back up. Michael found his girlfriend had moved on to somebody else.
In current times, he's still trying to fix his life and struggling to find a job. Upon his powers waking up, Michael gets his chance to finally fix the world...

Bio:
Nothing is known of the history of the man known as Joshua Cain. Only that he has seen just about everything the world has to offer, especially things that aren't meant to be seen, and as a result he tends to look at the world a little differently than most people. For over the centuries Joshua Cain was a soldier who fought for his country, was in a position of power, even took a self appointed exile just to get away from it all. But no matter what he usually finds himself right back in the thick of things. Majority of the times it's not of his own choosing.

He has no illusions of what the world is but he does realize that when times are tough someone has to make sure that it still remains so that perhaps the next generation would have the sense to improve it.
