Bio: A star athlete at Exodus High, he is into boxing and football. His dad is a star boxer and trained him in the sport. Matthew is great friends with Hank, Flannery, Helena, Summer and Dinah(Artemis). One day, he was attacked by an entire gang he had angered and was cornered. Matthew fought well but was overwhelmed, stabbed in the stomach and then horribly beaten down. While the hospital was able to save him, Matthew was effectively crippled by the experience. He slowly recovered but was unable to play sports anymore. While visiting a science lab for extra credit, one of the machines started to go haywire. As everyone else was running out, Matthew noticed the scientist was still there trying to fix it. Even with his body as badly busted up as it was, Matthew ran to his side and pulled the scientist away....just before it exploded, sending him flying across the room and filling the body with the energy and radiation that the machine was running on. Once he was home safely, the energy transformed his body from within. Not only healing his wounds but also granting him superhuman abilities. It took Matthew awhile to get used to them, eventually he started superheroing around the city, busting up criminals. During one such act he was shot at and discovered to his surprise that he was bulletproof now.
Matthew's abilities continued to grow as he patrolled Exodus City and he even made new friends in Derrick and Mariah and Artemis.
In current times, he is part of the Justice Patrol, the official Superhero team of Exodus City and is starting to fall for Artemis.
