"They're gathered boss."
"Excellent." Apex smiled. She adjusted her suit and walked into the room to greet her army.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. Thank you for coming. We have a problem. A group of five supers have encroached upon our territory. Penelope, Psyche, Vindalee, Burst and Bruiser. Because of their actions, we are down four men. We have lost Rocco, Volt, Stretch and Claw. This is not acceptable. These fools have declared war on us. They have made a grave mistake. We will hunt them down like the dogs they are if we have to tear this entire city apart to do it! And when we find them, we will torture them and then hang their eviscerated corpses from the bridges to remind everyone that this! IS! OUR CITY!"
The men cheered for their leader.
"GO! Go and destroy. Kill everyone in sight! Show them the price for heroism in our city. Let's send a message. THIS IS OUR DECLARATION OF WAR!"
The entire crowd roared their approval and began gathering guns and weapons before marching out, getting into cars and driving into the city.
Apex watched and smiled. "Next move is theirs."

Psyche walked ot the top of the apartment complex Bruiser stayed out. even in a city like this, it was a rather dilapidated part of it, and a great vantage point to start a war. Psyche had one foot on the edge, while Bruiser and Burst stoo dat his side. Vindalee was in the back of them, making it appear as if they were not on the roof, or that cops were around the block

"So go over the plan again Psyche" Bruiser asked


"I'll send Burst out first, since his abilities can allow for him to be a great scout ,while once they come here en masse, I want you to use your strength as a diversion, working in tandem with Vindalee to wwreak havoc"

Siphon was walking down the street, keeping her hood down as she looked for the gang members or at least Psyche's group. She figured nobody would recognize her with this get up, which would give her the element of surprise.

Elsewhere in the city, as people were walking down the sidewalk talking to each other and just enjoying the day, a black car drove down the middle off the street. The windows went down. Guns came out. Before anybody could react the guns began firing as the car drove on, people screamed and ran but were shot up by the bullets.

Siphon turned around as she heard the gunfire and ran towards it.

A couple gang members drove into the area where Psyche and his team were.

Around the city, various meta's began going on the attack.

Torch lit up a smoke as he walked down the block to a hospital.

One of the gang members, a dude with bright blue hair and a white t shirt/white sweats combo asked "YO WHO THE #*)# YOU THINK YOU IS *#)#?"

"I don't think I am, I know I am Psyche, and you are encroaching on my territory. Now, will you leave or do we have to take you out?

another said "NAW #*()# THAT WE RIDE FOR APEX ###*)#" as he generated two guns into his hands, shooting at Bruiser, who ahd the bullets bounce off him walking closer

one of the guys tries to fly away, and you see Burst jumping off a roof after him, Vindalee cloaking the guy as a demonic bird man

"ey mon don't try ta run from us, y'came here for a fight ya got it!"

Penelope stared in horror at the carnage before her. People were running around trying to avoid the gunshots even as the car drove down the street and gunned them down. With a scream of rage, she ran forward and fired lightning bolts at it, shocking the car and hitting one of them inside. This caused the car to stop and skid and smash into a lamppost. A moment passed before the thugs got out.
"Who the f-k?"
"She just shot lightning out at us."
"That hurt man!"
"Nice get up. It's her." One of them smiled.
"It's her."
They pointed their machine guns and fired. Penelope threw up her hands in front of herself. While it didn't knock her down like last time, getting shot was not a pleasant experience and the bullets did at least hurt but that was it. They stopped firing when they saw she wasn't going down.
"These ain't doing it."
"Then let's rip her apart."
Siphon charged her electricity and got ready to fight.

"Alright...yes...yes...alright...we're on it...yes.. Listen up! We have attacks going on all over the city! Gangbangers doing drive by's. You know the drill! We get out there, take them down, protect civilians!"

A small army of men, 100 in all, all of whom looked exactly the same, marched into the police station.

"Who the-S-T!" The man at the desk went for his gun. Too slow. The man in front fired on him, shooting him up. The police heard the noise and went for their weapons as the masked men charged in and a massive gunfight began.

explosions could be heard as Burst and Bruiser tore up the gang members, ending up with them being trashe dinto the aisle and getting rolled through windows, with Vindalee takign their car. "Where to?"

"hea dup to 45th and Sprang, Burst iwll be there to aide you" Psyche said as he and Bruiser strolled their street

The fat thug acted first, shooting a beam of energy out of his mouth. Siphon leaped to the side, barely avoiding the attack. The one with the sunglasses acted next, taking a running leap and launching himself through the air over to Siphon feet first. Siphon held up her arms to block it but was sent flying backwards, colliding with a car and pushing it backwards. The one with the beard flew up into the air and then swooped down on Penelope, smacking her on the back of the head with a metal bat to make her stumble, Shades kicked her on the side of the head, sending her flying again. Siphon rolled to the side, barely avoiding another mouth blast but was sent flying through the air by the explosion, Beardey flied down and slammed both feet into her back, knocking her to the ground. The three regrouped as Siphon got up, shaking off the hits.
She brought out her claws and swung her arm blindly at them, the arm stretched out and whipped at them. The bearded man and the sunglasses thug jumped backwards but the fat thug wasn't so lucky and was clawed on the arm, leaving bloody marks on it.
"F-K MY ARM!" Belch screamed.
Siphon seized her chance and fired an electric blast at the large thug, zapping him twice and sending him flying backwards through the air.
"BELCH! You are dead!" Leaper and Beardsey charged her again. Siphon fired bolts at the bearded thug and stretched her arm out to grab Leaper. The bearded thug flew into the air to dodge the blasts while Leaper jumped over her and her arm and kicked Siphon in the back, causing her to hit a lamp post and knock it over. Siphon groaned and picked herself up. The Bearded man flew around for another attack but she stretched out an arm and grabbed him by his bandanna and slammed him into the ground and tossed him through the air. He went through the window of his car and was out. "Just you and me Shades!"
She was promptly kicked in the face.
"OW! STOP THAT! Stop...Kicking!"
"F-k you." Leaper responded and charged her. "Don't know how the others got beaten by you, but I'm better, I'm smarter, and I'm gonna kick your a$$ all down this f-ing street!"
He leaped into the air for another attack but Siphon stretched her arms out and extended her claws. Leaper spun in the air and kicked one hand away but was clawed on his leg by the other, causing him to yell in pain and fall to the ground. As he was coming down, Siphon leaped forward and kicked him in his back, sending him flying several feet away down the street. Siphon stretched her arm out again and grabbed him, pulled him back over to herself and punched him in the face, taking Leaper out.
Siphon took a few moments to catch her breath and, wincing at the beating she had just gotten, sat down and took off her glove, sucking out his power. She then jumped over to the bearded thug and did the same. She breathed heavily. Then she saw something out of the corner of her eye and jumped backwards, barely avoiding a mouth blast from Belch who had recovered by now. He fired again and again, his mouth blasts blowing holes in brick walls and shooting down glass windows as people screamed and ran for cover. Siphon knew she had to end this. Focusing on the new power she received, she jumped up high and flew into the air.
Siphon honestly could not believe it. She was flying. FLYING! She quickly focused though and flew to the side, avoiding a blast from Belch and then returning fire with her lightning blasts. Belch screamed in pain as his body was shocked and then fell to the ground. Siphon quickly flew back down to him and smacked the thug across the face before draining his power as well. She stumbled back and took a few minutes to rest.
"There now....that wasn't so bad..."

Vindalee would arrive to find Burst making an explosion of energy, sending dozens of gang members sprawling and cop cars being shot and overturned, with fire rising from them. Burst would be looking at the cowered policemen, flexing as he said "WHO WANTS TO TEST THEIR MIGHT AGAINST MEH?" before zipping off like a madman to bumrush more gang members

A black blur raced towards him. There was a whirlwind of movement and Burst dashed to the side. Three cuts on his left arm. A woman smiled and turned to face him. "Wow, only three cuts...not bad."

"The rest of you guys kill the cops and the girl. I'll handle this one." She smiled and turned back to Burst. "Name's Crow. Want to play?"

The rest of the metahuman gang members recovered and focused on Vindalee and the cops.

Torch arrived in front of the hospital. "I take no pleasure in this, but well, orders are orders." He focused, created a large fire around himself and began blasting the hospital with fireballs, causing explosions and fire in and around it.

Apex got a call on her cell. "Yes?"
"Attack is well underway boss. One police station down, heading to the next." The masked man said.
"Good. You know what to do." Apex said.
"Rodger that. We'll call you after our next one." The masked man hung up and the others proceeded through the station, gathering guns and weapons. They opened up jail cells in the station and tossed the criminals police uniforms. "Get dressed."

Apex smiled at the smoke rising from the city. She held her arms out to her sides and closed her eyes as she listened. She could hear it even from atop the warehouse. Heard the screams of the people and the sounds of battle. Explosions, energy blasts, gunfire, car crashes, windows breaking, people screaming and rioting all mixed together. And she thought it.....good.

A group of the gang members burst into an apartment complex and began blasting at people when a window broke and Siphon slammed into the back of one of them and tossed her down the hallway. The others turned to her. "Who the hell are you?"
"I'm Siphon."
