Trope attack!
Just a list of tropes in Stronghold's story so far.

-Stronghold. Through as of yet unexplained means, he has been stripped of his powers while in the underground prison and while he has a little trouble getting used to it at first, he not only adapts but goes right back to whooping the hell out of the numerous psychotic's he's fought. He's even displayed minor swordsmanship skills and has shown to be capable of fighting off armed lunatics when he himself is unarmed and using the area to his advantage, such as the narrow hallway.

-Stronghold again. His powers are gone, he's taken a hell of a beating already, he's been strangled twice, been beaten with brass knuckles, he has bloody cuts and bruises all over, and he's still going strong, determined to save the captured civilians.

-In order to compensate for his power loss, Stronghold has gotten rather violent out of necessity, using blunt weapons, stabbing into enemy shoulders and legs, using brass knuckles, beating villains to hell, etc. Concerning the situation though, you can't blame him.
-Reaper too, given how, instead of duking it out with him, she covers Torcher with exploding jelly the first chance she gets and lets him blow himself up while she walks right past him. Ice.Cold.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CallBack
-Waaay back when Stronghold first got his costume, Derrick mentioned it had a few tricks, like changing colors and form based on the user's thoughts. Remembering this, Stronghold has slowly been willing it into armor for added protection.

-Stronghold, Reaper and Artemis. Also the psycho's to a lesser extent.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome?from=Main.CrowningMomentOfAwesome
-Stronghold has gotten several so far: Beating up Jackal in his first non-powered fight since forever, then beating down the dolls one after another, followed by taking down the fake hostage when he tries strangling him with a chain, beating up Claire despite her having swords, albeit with help from Sally, and the biggest one yet: Sword vs Chainsaw. Stronghold WINS!
-Sally jumping into fights to help Stronghold, despite just being a civilian, especially with their double finish on Claire.
-Reaper vs Torcher and the explosive finale.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NotSoStoic
-Reaper is generally pretty calm, but she freaks when she realizes that Torcher is perfectly willing to blow up the warehouse district, his own men included, just for kicks and yells at him. One of the first time's she's raised her voice at all so far.

-Violet. Compared to the other loonies we've seen she's pretty mellow so far.
-The Gentleman.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CompleteMonster
-The Game Master, the man responsible for everything happening in the arc so far. Among everything else, he's apparently watching it all on camera's and broadcasting it to other psycho's, all while making jokes about it.
-Torcher the pyromaniac who straps people to white phosphorus bombs.
-The Gentleman.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DangerouslyGenreSavvy
-Stronghold has displayed some of this, being smart enough to stand to the side of doors when opening them in case of a trap and use tools to set off traps so they don't have to.
-The Gentleman. On top of sending out two other psycho's to wear Stronghold down further, he sets down a hostage in the hall to act as bait and then just shoots Stronghold in the back the first chance he gets. Wham.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CharlesAtlasSuperpower
-Reaper, Artemis and Stronghold, who was a beastly fighter even before he got his powers, albeit not on the level of the other two, and his constant crime fighting and training have bulked him up a bit more, so even depowered he's very dangerous in hand to hand.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DamselInDistress?from=Main.DistressedDamsel
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BadassDamsel
-Sally. She starts off kidnapped and has been re-kidnapped at least twice now, but has also displayed the balls of steel necessary to jump into fights against depraved lunatics to help Stronghold out.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NightmareFuel
-The whole arc so far, even with the sheer badassery of the heroes, it's pretty damn dark.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CuteAndPsycho
-Claire.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CreepyDoll
-Stronghold finds a shelf full of them that is just.....there with no explanation. He comments on just how freaky this is. Also, the doll mask people.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CoolVersusAwesome
-Again, Sword vs Chainsaw.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChainsawGood
-Jameson seemed to think so.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OhCrap
-Stronghold has gotten some big moments so far: When he realizes that his powers are gone, when he realizes that Sally has been captured and when he hears the chainsaw coming.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FridgeHorror
-Given the amount of blood down there, the comments of the lunatics, the remains.....how many people have these lunatics killed? And just what was this prison used for in the first place?
