Once he got ready, he'd see Mako waiting for him, battle gear adorning his body. There were stars, stripes and badges from presumably  numerous battles

"Very nice, sir. Let's go out there and earn some new medals, eh?"

"that's the spirit" Mako would reply, heading to their destination. Once they reached it Darren would see a ruby city that shined like it was made of the gem itself

"If you're wondering about the city, it is made of rubies. Every structure. I recall your father bringing your mother here once. She caused quite an uproar"

"IT will but this doesn't change anything Nemo. Your friend will be of use Darren, I hope he has experience with pincers" Mako would tell him as Nemo muttered "sheesh talk about icyyy"
